Acid reflux is a very common problem and can cause a lot of agony and discomfort for people who suffer from it. Some other drinks you should avoid are carbonated drinks and coffee. Even diet drinks should be avoided, these will only cause you discomfort. Caffeine is also another known trigger for sufferers and you may find that your daily coffee has been the trigger for your indigestion problems all along.
Avoid eating foods that contain complex carbohydrates. This basically means anything you may find in your snack machine at work. These snacks or foods are extremely difficult for your body to break down and digest. Avoid eating three huge meals a day. This is only more work for your body and can be the cause of your discomfort. A much better solution is to break your meals up into smaller snacks. Keep meals more frequent but make them much smaller.
