My husband recently suffered from a ringing sound which continued for a few months before finally going to pay a visit to the doctor. When he finally made his appointment the doctor discovered that a Tinnitus was caused by a build up of wax in his ears. It seems that every time he used his fingers to clean his ears he was inadvertently pushing wax further into the ear canal. When the doctor removed the plug of wax the ringing stopped. There are many other causes, these include ear infections, Meniere’s disease, a blast injury such as an explosion, a blow to the side of the head or tumors of the middle ear.

The first step in natural tinnitus remedy is to pay a visit to your doctor, to understand what the underlying cause of the Tinnitus is. Once the cause is found, you can proceed to treat it and the ringing symptom should clear up to a certain degree although depending on the cause it is not guaranteed that the ringing will clear completely. Some herbs such as Ginko Biloba have been known to have a positive effect because it increases blood flow to the middle and inner ear. Tinnitus could also be the result of a vitamin B deficiency. A Niacin supplement or a general vitamin B complex tablet can be taken if it is in fact a Vitamin B deficiency. Homeopathic tissue salts such as; Mag Phos, Nat.
