During the late 1700’s, when doctors still believed in bloodletting and purging to cure every known symptom, one German physician was rejecting the notion that diseases were caused by outside influence. Dr. Samuel Hahnemann believed that all parts of the body worked together to create a harmony and that by using a diluted form of any disease could combat the disease and bring the body back into harmony. This initial theory about the science of homeopathy still exists today, but is usually shunned by those practicing traditional medicine.

Homeopathic practitioners still believe that using only safe, natural ingredients at a vastly diluted dosage can provide a safe alternative to the chemicals used in modern medicine. The usually 100 to one dilution achieved through a process called succession, leaves barely a trace of the original ingredients, rather the science of homeopathy sees the curing effects of the ingredients being transferred into the water, once the process is complete, without no potential for side effects existing.
’
Many biologists and those in traditional science cannot get their mind around the process as they see it only as having a placebo effect. Since no real trace of the original ingredients are found in the final solution, the detractor’s claim is that the science of homeopathy borders on quackery.

Believers Are Hard Pressed To Convince

For the patients who have benefited from the science of homeopathy, it will be hard to convince their alternative medical procedures cannot work. Additionally, the thought of a vital power working in harmony with the body is a major part of the belief in the science of homeopathy. Again, traditionalists find this hypothetical power to be nothing more than a theory with no facts on which it is based.

Whether the science of homeopathy actually works is a matter of discussion and dissension between traditional practitioners of modern medicine and those who have studied its use and have seen the effects over the years. They say that keeping the body in proper balance helps it heal itself. By using the science of homeopathy, providing natural products, mostly botanicals to give the body the means with which to affect its own cure is the strength on which the science of homeopathy is built.

For many years modern medicine has used the philosophy of nature being able to influence the treatment of many diseases. The major difference is that with the science of homeopathy the treatment is aimed at the cause of the symptoms while most modern medicine practitioners aim to cure the symptoms to give the patient relief.

Since the turn of the 19th century, certain doctors were leaning towards a new type of medicine and although their theory seemed sound at the time, many physicians and researchers were asking exactly what is the philosophy of homeopathic medicine. German physician Samuel Hahnemann had noticed some similarities between a cure for malaria with symptoms of the disease. With a little more study and reasoning he came up what is the philosophy of homeopathic medicine that would continue to today.

Not all practitioners of medicine at the turn of the 19th century agreed with what is the philosophy of homeopathic medicine offered by Hahnemann and some decried his efforts a quackery. Although with some vaccines developed later, the philosophy of homeopathic medicine is what helped provide their formulations. At the time of introducing this form of alternative medicine, many physicians were still practicing bloodletting for medicinal purposes.

Essentially, homeopaths believe that an illness is a sign of imbalance in the body and the treatments using what is the philosophy of homeopathic medicine can rebalance the vital forces of the body and eliminate the disease. However, very few in biology and medicine have found evidence to support this claim.

Basic Theory Is Treating Like With Like

Hahnemann noticed that many substances used as a treatment for an ailing patient, produced similar symptoms in healthy patients, reasoning that giving the treatment to s sick person would only make the patient worse. In developing what is the philosophy of homeopathic medicine, he determined that dilution of the cause of the disease in water or alcohol could provide an effective treatment.

He tested the treatment for malaria on himself attempting to prove his theory and developed the symptoms of the disease. He then reasoned that by using a greatly diluted version of the treatment, cinchona bark, he could use what was later termed the laws of similars to conclude that by using the produce that caused the ailment in greatly reduced dilutions it would create an effective cure, developing what is the philosophy of homeopathic medicine.

The body’s vital force is a hypothetic occurrence developed by early homeopathic physicians who refused to believe that disease are an invading separate entity. Hey believed, according to what is the philosophy of homeopathic medicine, that something in the body went awry as opposed to an invading force to cause the illness. This vital force disturbance could be rebalanced by using the homeopathic approach to treatment.

The history of homeopathy is one that should be taken very seriously into consideration, and one of the most important aspects here is that homeopathy’s roots emerge from various findings, teachings, and writings from around the world. The history of homeopathy is one which truly combines the high drama and intrigue commonly found in the best efforts of the silver screen.

Homeopathy started becoming popular in the Western world in the 1800s however during this time the conflict between homeopathy and more conventional methods of treatment were in a sort of conflict. Homeopathy was not as well known or understood at that time, and so a lot of people were very wary of the practice and some even though of it as a sort of witchcraft.

The history of homeopathy shows that homeopathy is based on various experimental pharmacological and clinical data, and all homeopathic medicines have been studied for years before being released to the public.

Homeopathy is very fast acting in most cases, especially in acute cases, and is usually very effective in treating fevers, infections, colds, and related ailments and illnesses. It is a natural and holistic system of medicine that uses highly diluted doses of substances to stimulate the body’s own healing mechanism. The use of these medicines is based on the discovery that a natural substance is capable of curing the same symptoms that it can cause.

Classical homeopathy in particular is based on the selection of a single remedy that most likely closely matches your symptoms at a particular time and then waits to observe your response before administering another remedy.

Homeopathic Medicines

The history of homeopathy is one of great importance and significance, and the homeopathic medicines that are used are prepared from a wide range of natural sources, over 75% of these medicines originated from different vegetables and flowers and their juices. It is the special method of homeopathic medicines that makes them as special as they are, absolutely free from toxic chemicals and other substances.

Before anyone begins taking homeopathic medicines they should be aware of the history of homeopathy and this is not only to ensure the most effective and positive results, but also to make sure that the patient is not putting themselves at any risk. It is very important, no matter who you are or what condition you are trying to treat, that you work together with your doctor in order to keep your safety as the top priority.
