Diet for Renal Failure or Kidney Failure Patient Dr Harshad Raval Md Homeopathy India
· 1 cup tea (not strong ), 1 cup of milk( 150 ml
[2]LUNCH:
· 4 chappatis or 3 Bhakhris made frombarley ( jav) flour , 1 serving of Tur dal prepared with hot water, 50 grams curd.
· 1 serving of rice, 1 green vegetable(n alternate days)
·
[3] AFTERNOON SNACKS (4.00 P.M):
· 100 ml milk or half cup tea.
· 100 gms.Khichadi prepared from sago( sabu dana) or 100 gms, pauva(flat rice)
[4]DINNER:
· 3 Bhakhris made from brarley flour.
· 100 ml milk.
· Green Vegetables( galaka, Bottle gourd, long beans, Gavar, pumpkin, Turia, or Ridged Gourd)
· Idlis or Khichadi prepared from Mung or Tur Dal, not more then 30 gms.( twice a week)
· Bhakhris may be taken during other days.
[5] USEFUL FOOD ITEM DURING WHOLE DAY:
· Milk (300gms), curd ( 100 gms), Sago Or Sabu Dana(30 gms.)
· Pauva or Flat rice (30 gms), Tur Dal (15 gms) Oil(40 gms), Rice (100gms), Potatoes(50 gms.), Suger (20 gms.), and salt-edible ( 1 gms.)
[6] DO NOT USE FOLLOWING FOOD ITEMS:
· Fruits and fruit juices, Coconut water, Dry fruits, Coconut Power, Chocolate, Jams, Tinned Food, Chutney, Salted pickles, ( sweet murraba may be taken), Khus-Khus , Morraiya, Millet (Bajri), Maize or Corn not to be Used. Also Vadi, Singoda, Meat, Fish, Chicken and eggs.
[7] FOLLOWING FOOD ITEMS MAY BE CHANAGED:
· Same quantity of curd in place of milk, ice-cream, Lassi or butter milk.
· Idlis instead of rice, Rotis made from rice flour, pulao
· In place of rice and Dal use same quantity of Kishadi made from rice and dal or dhoklas or Dosas.
· Lime juice, Kokam, Tamarind may be used according to taste.
· Instead of Tur Dal, smilar quantity of idelis, Handvo, Khaman may be taken.
·
[8] TO KEEP BLOODPRESSURE UNDER CONTROL:
· Use only 1 gms. Of commom salt.
· Do not take liquids in excess of 1 liter.
· Avoid snacks prepared by using baking soda as Khari, biscuit, Khaman, and Cack all bakery product avoided.
· Use Green leafy vegetable after boiling and drining off water.
· Meditation, yoga, pranayam and light exercises help in reducing high BP by about 20%
[9] TO PREVENT COMMAN COLD:
Try and avoid fruits like oranges, grapes, bananas, refrigerated water or soda drink, ice- creams, chocolate, sauce, jam, curd, butter-milk, left over snacks, also may be avoided.
[10] USE HOME GROEN GERMINATED WHEAT(JAWARA) ON A DAILY BASIS.
